About the Artist

A southern California Artist, Liz lives and works at home in the Las Virgines hills, part of the Malibu Canyon landscape.

Her career as a Painter was inspired by her many years living in Western Canada as a young adult.  When she moved back home to Los Angeles to take on a career as an Art Teacher, she turned to painting as an escape from the rigors of public school.  She has enjoyed success as an oil painter for many years.  

These days she is painting in both Oil and Water Color.  Recently she took on Plein Air painting, loving the challenge of painting outside with friends in the Santa Monica Mountains and other Southern California locals.  She also paints at home in her studio and teaches at the Calabasas Senior community center.
